Junior Faculty Consortium

Call for Participation

When: Sunday, September 4th 2016

Where: The Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa

 The MCIS Junior Faculty Consortium seeks to help junior faculty in the Information Systems discipline to develop an effective career plan based on their personal and professional goals.During the consortium, discussions will include early stage career management, how to develop one’s scholarly profile and research stream, how to make significant research and teaching contributions, and how to network and become visible in the profession, among others. Faculty wishing to participate in the MCIS 2016 Junior Faculty Consortium should be in a tenure-track or an equivalent research-oriented position in an Information Systems or an Information Systems related department or institution. The deadline is July 28, 2016.

 Application Criteria

The Junior Faculty Consortium co-chairs will review each application. The review process would focus on the applicants’ accomplishments and potential. Several junior faculty may apply from each institution. The number of participants in the Junior Faculty Consortium is limited to 20 participants.

Application Process

Please submit the following materials via email to MCIS2016DC@gmail.com by July 28, 2016 (midnight Cyprus time). Please create a SINGLE pdf file that includes all required materials and submit the single pdf file via email. Please include your name in the name of the file.
