Welcome Reception

Welcome Reception is the first social gathering between all conference delegates and it will take place at University of Cyprus (New Campus). It will be a relaxing evening during which delegates will have the opportunity to talk to colleagues and peers, while enjoying local drinks and ample canapés.

The Welcome Reception is included in all Normal and Student Registration fees.

  • Participants staying at Hilton Hotel and Semeli Hotel can take the bus offered by the conference organizer from the Lobby of the Hilton Hotel (Makarios Avenue) to Solomos Square (terminal of all buses).
    • From Solomos Square they need to walk 10 minutes to the restaurant.
    • Alternatively participants staying at Hilton Hotel and Semeli Hotel can take the public bus No 150 or the bus No 259 from Makarios Avenue to Solomos Square (terminal of all buses).
    • Alternatively they can ask their hotel to call a taxi which can be shared by 4 persons.
  • Participants staying at Classic Hotel can walk to the restaurant. The walk will take 10 minutes.

"Kathodon" is a traditional restaurant, serving excellent dishes of Cypriot cuisine, desserts, local wines and drinks which harmoniously complete the rich menu. The event can definitely be considered as an opportunity to meet and get to know better fellow delegates in a different yet relaxed environment.

The Conference Dinner is included in all Normal and Student Registration fees.

  • Participants staying at Classic Hotel can take the bus No 150 or the bus No 259 from Solomos Square and get off at bus stop outside Hilton Hotel.
  • Restaurant is located 50 meters from the main entrance of Hilton Hotel.
  • Alternatively they can ask their hotel to call a taxi which can be shared by 4 persons.

Local restaurant serving a delightful and varied buffet consisting of Cypriot, Mediterranean and international cuisine. Desserts, local drinks and coffee are included in the menu. It will be a relaxing evening and can be considered as a farewell party.
